Google Tools for You!

Marketing for Nonprofits

Just this weekend, I used Google to navigate to the Splash Park, figure out what time it was in Hawaii (I'm time zone challenged) and research scooters. What would we do without Google? It's hard to imagine a world without this search engine which allows us to find information on ANYTHING. Can you tell I'm a mom?) And, yet Google is MUCH more than a search engine, it's also a great platform for: 1. Collaborating on projects and keeping everyone in your organization organized.

Marketing To Changing Demographics

In Texas, California, New Mexico, Hawaii and the District of Columbia, the white portion of the population is already a minority (representing less than 50%). In 15 of them, the dominant minority is Hispanic; in two markets the dominant minority is Black, and in Hawaii, of course, it’s the Asian/Pacific Islander. Your Website Doesn't Matter (If Know One Goes There!)

Marketing for Nonprofits

Dionna graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a BA in Women's Studies and an MA in Political Science. I'm always harping on the need for nonprofits to clean up their "houses" online. But the fact remains, that even if you have a BEAUTIFUL website, it doesn't really matter if no one goes there. Thus, a key challenge for nonprofits it to MARKET their websites so that more people show up, get engaged, and GIVE online.
