I provide this option in several places, including the subscription box and in a footer that goes out with the RSS feed. Looking at a year-over-year comparison of January-March 2010 (when I was blogging twice a week) to 2011 (blogging five times a week) in Google Analytics, visits increased 116% and pageviews increased 91%. On January 3, 2011, I started a daily blogging experiment — and by “daily&# I actually meant business daily, Monday – Friday.

I hope you enjoy the 2006 - 2009 comparisons. Improved and simplified RSS feeds would help more novice RSS users add blog feeds to their subscription lists. With greater east of RSS use, and better cross interfaces, more bloggers could reach wider audiences. In 2005, before blogs became mainstream, the tecnology available precluded cross platform references and RSS feeds were not commonplace.

Turned out to be a fascinating comparison (at least to me!). The homepage includes an RSS sign-up option, and even a sign-up for old-fashioned e-mail alerts. Last week I "reviewed" the websites of Habitat for Humanity and Charity: Water. Just to remind you, I’m looking especially at online fundraising appeals, use of online video, and use of social media.
