On the one hand, Millennials gave 66% of their vote to Obama, and in the process erased the usual turnout gap between younger and older generations. The Millennials: Confident. Connected.

Here from Pew Research is — for my money — the definitive report on the role of the internet in last year’s election. Among internet users, 15% of Obama supporters made a contribution online, while 6% of McCain supporters did so. Fully 45% of internet users went online to watch a video related to the campaign.
