I just stepped out of a workshop where I taught a room full of Habitat for Humanity folks about using social media tools. I attended an e xcellent presentation hosted by the Foellinger Foundation, featuring Peter Brinckerhoff ( photo, left ) on "Generation Change and Your Nonprofit." Brinckerhoff's remarks got me thinking again about one of the weaknesses in nonprofit PR: an over-reliance on the media. Become your own "media." And the list goes on.
