Which reality am I referring to?
The one where the vast majority of intelligent people in the workforce have never used, let alone heard of free tools such as Google Docs (assuming it’s not blocked).
Google Docs is the ultimate tool for when you need wiki functionality, but don’t necessarily want to open it up to the public and/or you just have a short term initiative in mind.
I’m always blown away whenever I step outside of the social media fishbowl/community and step into reality.
What is it?

We’ve all heard a lot about the capabilities of Google Maps, but that may not translate into our regular use of this great tool. the green line (a bike path) to see an embedded youtube video
the blue square to see embedded photos, text, hyperlinks, and video.
I fell into that category myself before I sat down for a half-hour and just played.

Of course, all this time, many nonprofits have also been posting their videos to YouTube as well, although many felt that their clips were being lost among the millions of videos there. The ability to embed a Google Checkout donation button on their channel and video pages, allowing people to quickly and securely make a contribution directly from YouTube. Rotation In the past I've talked about web sites like CharityDocs.org and DoGooder.tv as "YouTubes for nonprofits." Starting today, YouTube is upping the ante for nonprofits, to encourage them to use their site

Previously, nonprofits were not able to link back to their website call to action page in YouTube - only display a Google Checkout button for donations or their main website URL.
Now you can create a call to action overlay for particular videos which will link back to your particular call to action page.
Just go to the “Edit Video” section of your video, then

Coincidentally, or not, The Wall Street Journal [subscription needed for access to entire article online] today tells the story of a new type of collaboration between P&G (the iconoclastic consumer marketing organization) and Google, one that involves an employee exchange program. About 2 dozen employees are sitting in on the other’s training and strategy meetings, learning the culture in ways that will (hopefully for Google) lead P&G to invest more ad dollars in online media where they are well behind the curve among major brands spending an estimated 2% of their marketing budget

Just to remind you, I’m looking especially at online fundraising appeals, use of online video, and use of social media.
Once again I began by simply googling the organization (limiting my search to USA hits), getting 13,200,000 hits — 3+ times more than Habitat, but making Charity:Water’s 38 million hits even more astounding! will confess to some disappointment that googling "global environmental issues" did not Last week I "reviewed" the websites of Habitat for Humanity and Charity: Water . Originally I selected Habitat as emblematic

confess I was looking mainly at three things: online fundraising appeals, use of online video (no surprise to regular Agitator readers!), began by googling Habitat for Humanity . waded through the first five pages of Google hits (studies say most folks don’t go beyond two pages) and found no “intruders.” To prepare for some discussions Roger and I will audiotape on social media, online fundraising, and 2010 fundraising strategies, I was browsing through some nonprofit websites.
