M+R Strategic Services just released a report outlining the strategies and best practices from the Obama new media campaign and how those practices should be applied to nonprofits and their online marketing and fundraising efforts. We have all heard how Barack Obama leveraged social media during the campaign ( just Google it… ). More specifically, I’m interested as to how President Obama will continue to leverage social media under White House restrictions. I can guarantee that Barack Obama had a lot to do with this and will surely be contributing in one way or another, even with the weight of the world now on his shoulders. Being a Canadian, I can’t think of ever being so interested in and passionate about U.S politics as in the last 4 years; Clearly I’m not alone.

With us that morning, were half a dozen high school girls, fulfilling their mandatory volunteering requirements.

d also love to see more of what Google is doing with open social, making it easy for blogs or even non-blogs to add social networking features. The Obama campaign and administration grok it and are encouraging people to get involved. As December 2005 drew to a close, I asked a few bloggers what their wish list was for the new year .. 2006.
