You can even use the core presentation on your website or on LinkedIn (through SlideShare) for additional exposure. Through the presentation development process, often strategy may change direction or other big decisions are made. Be thoughtful of changes that may be needed in these areas. Think of yourself as searching for a relationship (not a fat check) with a company. What are this companys business priorities and philanthropic goals (because they likely already have some)? Find a board member or even LinkedIn connection who can introduce you so youre not cold calling. Tis the season for email marketing.

As the fates would have.soon after reading it I was down-sized from my job with the Georgia Lottery Company. Thoughts that a company would want to hire "more than a resume" were radical 12 years ago. Those companies seem to have a strong sense of "self" e.g., It was Tom Peters' - the brand called you.
