This new one is simple and okay… Their tagline is still my favorite: “Changing the world one lazy-assed mouse click at a time.” I just saw Amy Sample Ward a few days ago, lucky me, on her way from SXSW to London, and she handed me this wonderful book that she is a co-author of, called Social by Social .
So this morning I got up early, plunked down on the couch with a cup of tea and started reading Social by Social, a giant orange book.

Once I clicked to it, of course I was presented with a whole variety of the genre.
I’m scratching my head as to why we haven’t looked into the availability of fundraising videos before. Not online pitches by nonprofits, but rather "how to" videos.

When it rains it pours, so after my post yesterday about an opportunity for organizations to get a $10K grant by writing their mission in lyrical form, today, another heads up from the Allstate Foundation about a program they have going where all of us can click to vote for one of 4 favorite charities . The Allstate"Click to Empower" campaign starts today, so the first thing I thought to do was to sign up for these folks email lists and find them on Facebook to monitor how they would be promoting this. I posted about something similar Target was doing recently and promoting thru Facebook , and shared my thoughts on how the organizations involved in that effort were reaching out to folks to get most votes.
