On March 28, artists Lauri Apple and Seth Gershberg hosted a participatory performance piece titled Twitter Island at the nonprofit Chicago Art Department gallery. Twitter Island reminds me of Portland Center Stage ’s live-tweeting theater experiment, in that, for the Portland tweeters, the event was a bonding experience.
