Thanks to everyone who came out to the AMA Boston event on Cause Marketing During Challenging Economic Times . What is cause marketing. One thing that was clear from everyone on the panel is that Bonnie , Erica Vogelei from Cone and I all had a different understanding of what cause marketing is. It was a great event.

This week Dana VanDen Heuvel , Bill Flitter and I will be on the road to Seattle for the last stop of our mini road trip for the American Marketing Association Hot Topic Workshop - Digital-Centered Marketing . According to State of Nonprofit Marketing , a new report by Lipman Hearne and the American Marketing Association, only 1 percent of nonprofit marketers rank "leveraging technology" or "leveraging the Internet" as one of their top marketing priorities.
